Who is Monumize for?

Monument shops and cemeteries adding a date (or a line) to a stone that is already set: the second date on a companion stone, a year, a correction. Anywhere a phone photo beats a rubbing and an hour of layout.

What formats do I get?

Every job includes an R12 DXF made for Gerber OMEGA and most sign software (curves are true arcs, so letters cut smooth), an EPS for Illustrator or CorelDRAW, a 1:1 PDF, a PLT for cutters that take HP-GL, an SVG, a CAD DXF with units set, and a placement sheet showing where the date sits on the stone.

How accurate are the measurements?

You enter the stone’s width and height and put a corner on each corner of the polished face. That straightens the photo to the stone’s true proportions, so letter height and spacing come out to scale. In our tests on sample images, letter size was typically within about 1%. Results on real stones depend on the photo and the measurements you enter, so always check the outline on your photo and the 1:1 PDF against the stone before cutting.

What if the font match is wrong?

The match is a ranked suggestion. Each of the 22 monument fonts can be shown on the actual date from your stone, so you can see which one fits and switch with one click. The outline on the photo updates as you go.
