Monumize

For monument dealers & sandblast shops

Walk back to the truck with a cut file in your hand.

Photograph the stone with a quarter in frame. The AI measures the dimensions, the family signs a proof, and you get DXF, PDF, and PLT — all calibrated to the physical stone. Monumize handles the proof step. You handle the cut and the customer.

The dealer workflow

From cemetery photo to cut path in four steps.

  1. 1

    Snap it on the visit

Phone photo with a US quarter or credit card in frame. Upload before you leave the gate.

  2. 2

    AI does the math

Stone dimensions, color, and existing lettering style return in under a minute — no clipboard, no chalk lines.

  3. 3

    Family signs the proof

Two-page PDF: before, after, dimensions, and a signature block. The caretaker approves on their phone.

  4. 4

    DXF straight to the rig

Outlined geometry — no live text, no font drift. Opens in MasterCAM, Vectric, or your sandblast plotter the same way.

Why dealers pilot us

Win back the back-office hour you bill at the same price.

Second-date jobs are high volume and low margin. The cost isn't the sand — it's the layout, the proof email, the second visit to confirm measurements. Monumize collapses all of it into a single mobile workflow.

No tape measure, no studio time

Stop charging an hour back-office to lay out a $200 second-date job. Bill the same job at the same price, keep the hour.

One workflow, three formats

DXF for CNC, PLT for sandblast plotters, PDF for the family. We generate all three from the same underlying geometry.

Pay only on download

Run the photo through the AI for free. You only pay $49 per job at the moment you grab the cut files.

Built for cemetery visits

Mobile-first upload. Works from a service truck on bad cell signal. Re-download files from your laptop later.

Dealer pricing

$49 per inscription. No subscription, no per-seat tax.

The fee covers DXF, PDF, and PLT for one stone. Re-downloads are free forever. Want a flat-rate plan for shops cutting more than 20 second dates a month? Talk to us.

AI analysis of the existing stone

Frequently asked.

Will the DXF actually open in my CAM?
Yes. We export R12 DXF with outlined LWPolylines and closed regions — the format every sandblast plotter, CNC router, and laser controller from the last fifteen years accepts. We test against Vectric Aspire, MasterCAM, EnRoute, and ArtCAM on every release.
How accurate are the dimensions?
Dimensions are calibrated using the known size of the reference object in the photo (US quarter, credit card, or Monumize calibration card). Median error vs hand-measured is around 2 mm on stones up to 24 inches tall — well within the tolerance needed for in-place sandblast layout.
What about the font on the existing stone?
We detect the style as a starting suggestion. You override it before the preview is generated. The detected family is informational; the final file uses whatever font you (or the family) confirm.
Do you handle the family relationship?
Monumize handles the proof step — the family approves the preview before any payment is taken. You stay the dealer of record, set the inscription, and own the customer relationship. We never compete on price quoting or upsell add-ons.
Can I batch multiple jobs from one cemetery visit?
Yes. Upload as many stones as you took photos of; each gets its own proof workflow. We're piloting a "route mode" where a single cemetery visit creates a single batched proof email to the families involved.
What does it cost the family?
Monumize charges $49 per inscription cut-file package. You separately quote the family for the cutting work — labor, travel, materials — as you always have. Most shops add the $49 directly to the family invoice as a line item.

Try it on one stone.

Create a dealer account, photograph one second-date inscription, run the AI proof. If it doesn't cut the back-office time in half, don't download the file. We don't charge anything until you do.
