Is this a replacement for our existing dealer?
No. Monumize is the proof and intake layer. If your cemetery already works exclusively with a single dealer or in-house team, we pin the cemetery to that dealer in the platform and route every approved job to them. You keep the relationship; we just remove the form-and-phone-tag step.
How do you handle our compliance rules?
Each cemetery sets its own rules in the admin portal — maximum line count, font restrictions, prohibited words, religious-symbol limits, raised-letter rules. The AI proof flags anything that violates a rule before it reaches a caretaker for signing.
What about the family's payment?
Families pay Monumize $49 plus the dealer's fulfillment quote. We hold the payment in escrow via Stripe Connect until the dealer uploads a completion photo. Funds release automatically; disputes go through Stripe.
How do cemetery referral fees work?
When a job routes through your cemetery URL and is fulfilled by a partner dealer, we attribute the lead to the cemetery and pay a 10% referral share on the dealer's portion. Payouts go to your Stripe account monthly. Cemeteries who route work to in-house staff opt out of this.
Do you replace our existing record-keeping?
No. We export PDFs and CSVs that match the columns most cemetery management systems (Halcyon, Pontem, Stone Orchard) accept. Your record of truth stays where it is — Monumize is the intake and proof step that feeds into it.
What does it cost the cemetery?
Zero. There is no per-seat or per-stone fee for cemeteries. Monumize earns from the $49 service fee charged to caretakers. If you route to a partner dealer, we share 10% of the dealer's portion with you as a referral.
